Teaching
Ben's first teaching position was as Oboe Tutor for Hendon Music Centre as part of Barnet Education & Arts Trust's Saturday morning provision. Having built a reputation there as an energetic and committed teacher, keen to build experience in all areas of education, Ben taught all over North London, culminating in a position at Dame Alice Owen's School teaching Oboe & Bassoon and conducting the School's Symphony Orchestra.

"Working with Ben is fun, enjoyable and illuminating. Teaching music, especially through video calls is no easy task, yet he makes it look effortless.....
Lessons are not all seriousness and hard work, as he genuinely cares about how you are doing and how you are coping. He makes sure set work is tweaked to fit the student, allowing you to look forward to the practice sessions..."
